Copper

Actions: an important trace mineral for bone formation, production of hemoglobin (hematogenic) and proper fat and protein metabolism.. Promotes healthy nerve function and taste function. Works with Vitamin C and zinc for collagen production and wound healing (vulnerary), anti-inflammatory. Though it is antihypercholesterolemic, excess copper may raise cholesterol by disturbing the HDL to LDL ratio. Copper also helps maintain proper color of skin and hair.
