Cramp Bark (Viburnum opulus) |
|
|
Cramp bark is an herb with
antispasmodic properties. It has been used to decrease uterine spasms &
cramps, as well as cramps in skeletal muscles, particularly cramps in the
calf of the leg. Cramp bark also has sedative properties. Of interest, progesterone also has antispasmodic and
sedative properties. This may explain why women with progesterone deficient
menopause types® find this herb quite helpful. This herb may be used by any menopause type® and is
particularly helpful in women with symptoms that suggest progesterone
deficiencies. Menopause types® that may benefit
significantly by using this herb include Menopause Types® 7, 8, 9,
10, 11 & 12. |
