Ashwaganda (Withania
somnifera) |
Ashwaganda enhances adrenal function, the source of
the androgen DHEA, which may be used to create testosterone in the body. It
has also been noted to have a direct effect on increasing libido and sexual performance,
which are both symptoms of low testosterone. Ashwaganda may be used for any
Menopause Type® in which there are symptoms suggesting a
deficiency of testosterone and/or other androgens. Menopause
Types® that may benefit significantly by using this herb include
Menopause Types® 2, 5, 8 & 11. |
