Alfalfa (Medicago sativa)

Though alfalfa may be available in tablets or tincture, it is best used as a food in the form of alfalfa sprouts, and has mild diuretic properties – decreasing fluid retention. Used as a food, it may be used by women of any menopause type®. None-the-less, since alfalfa does have mild estrogen mimicking properties, it is especially useful for menopause types® with estrogen deficiency.

Menopause types® that may benefit significantly by using this herb include Menopause Types® 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 & 12.
